Janelle Pierzina Sets the Record Straight on Political Beliefs Amid MAGA Rumors

After a fan claimed that Big Brother alum Janelle Pierzina is a supporter of President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, the reality star took to social media to set the record straight. The online controversy erupted on August 10 when a fan compared current houseguest Haley Thogmartin to Janelle, writing that if Big Brother season 6 had aired today, fans would "HATE" Janelle due to her alleged political beliefs. However, the four-time player quickly responded to the claim, clarifying her political stance and debunking the rumors. "I'm politically independent," Janelle wrote via Twitter. "Socially very liberal, fiscally conservative, and anti-big-government. Pro-choice. Pro-LGBTQ rights. Pro-individual freedom. Lower taxes, less government waste, controlled immigration, and no foreign wars. I don’t need every one of my beliefs to fit neatly into a political party." Janelle further argued that compared to when she first played Big Brother in 2005, everyone would be considered conservative in today's political landscape. She also pointed out that several players from her season would have been kicked out for using racist language, none of whom were from her alliance. "So basically go f*** yourself and stop spreading lies," she concluded. Janelle first appeared on Big Brother during its sixth season, quickly becoming a fan favorite as a member of the underdog Sovereign Six alliance. She went on to win multiple competitions, ultimately finishing in third place behind runner-up Ivette Corredero and winner Maggie Ausburn. In 2007, Janelle returned for the show's inaugural all-star season, setting a record for most individual competition wins in a single season with nine. Despite her success, she once again finished in third place. In 2013, she returned to the Big Brother house as a coach alongside Mike "Boogie" Malin, Dan Gheesling, and Britney Haynes. Despite not playing since 2020's second all-star season, Janelle has remained an active viewer and commentator on the show. She has shared her thoughts on the current season and players via her social media channels. By signing up, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
