Lyric Medeiros Sets the Record Straight on Shower Habits and Housemate Drama After 'Big Brother' Exit

In a candid conversation with Page Six following her eviction from Big Brother 28, the fiery contestant Lyric Medeiros has addressed the controversy surrounding her shower habits - and more! When asked about the infamous incident, Medeiros admitted that while she stands by her actions, she learned a valuable lesson about privacy in a 16-person household. "I don't think it's as gross as people may believe," she shared. "I used soap and the water was running, so it really just canceled out." However, if given another chance in the Big Brother house, Medeiros promised to take a different approach: "Mark my words, I would not be in the shower and telling everyone about it." One of the most surprising moments for Medeiros during her time in the house was Melody Morris's venting in the diary room that she wanted to "punch [Medeiros] in the face" for throwing their ally Mallory Aurichio under the bus. But Medeiros took it in stride, acknowledging that it's all part of the game. "I was definitely shocked," she said. "But at the end of the day, it's a game. And so I think we'll be friends on the outside." Medeiros also called out Drew Campbell for making fun of her voice and Dee Valladares for masterminding her eviction, but she remains optimistic about their future interactions. "I honestly thought I could trust Dee in the game," she said, "but obviously, I was wrong." One bright spot for Medeiros during her time on Big Brother was her showmance with Rome Seymour. "I'm so blessed that I met Rome because we've been talking literally every day on FaceTime," she shared. "It's been a dream come true in terms of coming out of that house with something more than just the experience. It's coming out with a person I can trust forever and a person that I love." And as for what's next for Medeiros and Seymour, fans will have to stay tuned to their social media accounts to find out. "All I can say is that maybe expect something on our social media pages," she teased. "Maybe a reunion might be happening within the next two weeks." Big Brother 28 airs every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and will be available to stream the next day on Paramount+. Fans won't want to miss another exciting season of drama, alliances, and unexpected showmances!
