Mike Epps Inks Deal with Independent Artist Group for All-Encompassing Representation

Comedy and acting powerhouse Mike Epps has sealed a deal with the Independent Artist Group (IAG), marking a significant expansion in their professional relationship. This move will see IAG representing not just his production company, Indiana 1 Productions, but also every aspect of his career. The agreement follows the resounding success of Epps' "We Them One’s Comedy Tour," which packed out numerous arenas during its run, and the premiere of his standup comedy special "Delusional" on Netflix in January. This impressive performance led Netflix to commission an additional two standup specials from Epps. Epps' illustrious acting career includes roles in popular films such as the "Friday" franchise, "The Hangover," "Sparkle," "Girls Trip," and "Dolemite is My Name." He also executive produced and starred alongside Wanda Sykes in Netflix’s "The Upshaws," which concluded its seven-season run earlier this year. On the production front, Epps founded Indiana 1 Productions, a company dedicated to creating original film, television, and comedy content. He's already produced several projects, including Hulu’s upcoming series “Good American Family,” starring Ellen Pompeo. IAG has been managing Epps' live touring business and will now extend its reach into film, television, comedy, literary, endorsements, and other entertainment ventures. "Mike has been an integral part of the IAG family for years, and we’ve witnessed his continual evolution into one of the most versatile and lasting talents in entertainment," said Jim Osborne, CEO of IAG, in a statement. "From his electrifying stage performances to his acting, producing, and entrepreneurial endeavors, Mike has crafted an exceptional brand." Epps commented, "I've entrusted my touring business to the IAG team for a long time, and they've always delivered. Expanding our relationship across all aspects of my career felt like the natural next step. I'm excited about what lies ahead and looking forward to creating even bigger things together."
