Celebrating the Best in TV Set Design: The 2026 SDSA Awards

The small screen's most visually stunning series were honored at this year's Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA) Awards, recognizing exceptional set decoration work between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026. Among the night's big winners, "Widow's Bay" clinched the award for Best Decor/Design in a One-Hour Contemporary Series. Set decorator Jennifer Engel and production designer Steve Arnold's collaboration resulted in an unparalleled visual experience that captivated audiences throughout the season. "Fallout" and "Wednesday" tied for the top prize in the One-Hour Fantasy or Science Fiction Series category, with set decorator Julie Ochipinti and production designer Howard Cummings acknowledged for their outstanding work on "Fallout," and David Morison, Neville Gaynor, Mark Scruton, and Philip Murphy taking home honors for their contributions to "Wednesday." In the One-Hour Period Series category, "Palm Royale" took home the trophy, while "Beef" claimed victory in the Television Movie or Limited Series category. "Hacks" won big in the Half-Hour Single Camera Series category, with "Happy's Place" taking home the prize for the Half-Hour Multi-Camera Series. In the Web Series, Music Video or Commercial category, Offset and John Legend's "Never Let Go" emerged victorious. The Variety, Reality or Competition Series award went to "The Muppet Show," while "The Bold and the Beautiful" secured the win in the Daytime Series category. Additional nominees across nine TV categories included "Euphoria," "Margo's Got Money Troubles," "The Morning Show," "Pluribus," "The Boys," "For All Mankind," "Stranger Things," "Bridgerton," "Outlander," "Spider-Noir," "Young Shelock," "The Beast in Me," "Black Rabbit," "Love Story," "Monster: The Ed Gein Story," "Saturday Night Live" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
